Egyptian Rat Screw

Infographic Poster

Egyptian Rat Screw is a simple yet fast-paced card game played with a standard 52-card deck. It’s a mix of chance and agility, perfect for 2 or more players.

This infographic poster breaks down how to play the game and includes some fun facts and statistics about playing cards. I designed it to appeal to both kids and adults, as the game is suitable for ages 8 and up. Using shades of primary colors, I aimed for a look that is vibrant and playful for younger audiences while also evoking the feel of casino or poker chips for older players. The charcoal-black background creates a strong contrast, making the colors and white playing cards pop.

Concept & Layout

I started the design process by sketching everything out on paper to explore the layout and visualize the overall flow of the infographic.

Once I had a clear concept, I moved on to Illustrator, where I created all the icons and charts. For added detail, the playing cards featured on the timeline were hand-drawn to capture their unique characteristics. As the project progressed, the final design evolved from the initial sketch, adapting to better suit the overall concept and layout.
